Private money, explained.
Understand your private balance, make your first payment, and learn what the chain can see.
What is Mirk?
Mirk is a browser app for holding and moving assets through a shielded pool on Robinhood Chain. Your wallet handles public deposits. Private notes, stored encrypted on your device, let you spend inside the pool. Your private balance is the value of your unspent notes.
The three steps
Add money from a public wallet into the pool. Send privately to a Mirk account number or create a claim link. Cash out to a public wallet when you want to leave the pool. Adding money and cashing out expose amounts on chain; private transfers use zero-knowledge proofs.
What you can do today
Add ETH or USDG, send to a registered account number, receive payments, create and claim payment links, review local activity, and export or restore an encrypted backup. Trade and Marketplace are marked coming soon and are not available.
Your wallet and your private store
Connecting identifies your public wallet and requests the signature that unlocks your encrypted private store in this browser. The dashboard stays visible while you confirm in your wallet; there is no separate sign-to-open screen. You can explore Home before connecting; balances and account details stay empty.
Start with the essentials
Follow Quickstart to open your store and make a small deposit. Read What stays private before sending, then Backups and recovery before holding a balance. Network and contracts lists the deployment used by this app.
